Glenn’s new show, A.P. Bio, will have a preview on February 1st at 9:30pm EST following Will and Grace, which I had no idea was still a thing. After the Winter Olympics, the show will premiere on March 1st at the same time.
Before I go off, lets look at premise of the show.
A.P. Bio stars It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia co-lead Glenn Howerton as a philosophy scholar who loses out on his dream job and goes to work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher but he makes it clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, he decides instead to use the kids to his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.
What does premier date really mean? Well two things.
One, we have a few months to finally blow the lid off of the Lee Harvey Oswald/Patton Oswald conspiracy cover-up and maybe even see Patton spiral out of control with his meth/Russian hooker addiction. That Son of a BITCH!
Secondly, this gives us plenty of time to draft bad reviews, hate mail, enraged emails, reddit threads where we show how actually A.P. Bio is just a copy of some other stupid ass show, and basically any other form of resistance to this GODDAMN home wrecker of a show!
This is where the Resistance starts! We are the spark, that will light the fire that’ll burn the Networks and dumbass directors making stupid movies who try to steal Sunny stars down. And guess what folks…we are going to win this war. Not by fighting what we hate (Patton Oswald, NBC, CBS, Guillermo del Toro) but saving what we love (Dennis, Cricket, Charlie). We must save Glenn. We must protect the Gang!
Vive la Resistance…Vive la Always Sunny
P.S. As I said for Cricket’s new show, I will try this show out and I hope it is good, but I have huge doubts and mostly because its on NBC. Network comedies just don’t do it for me anymore. After they killed The Office, I’ve been out on network comedies. The real kicker is having an actor that you know and love in this raunchy Always Sunny world go to a toned down network comedy world of laugh tracks and recycled jokes.
